Swedish Meatballs

1–2 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 minced yellow onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon (tbsp) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (tbsp) pepper
  • 2 tablespoon (tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon (tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp of pepper
  2. Heat the oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Take a golf-ball size of mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the meatballs into the pot cooking for 1 minute, flipping once
  3. Add the beef broth, milk, remaining salt & pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir thoroughly
  4. Bring to a boil, and add egg noodles. Stir constantly until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has thickened. About 7-9 minutes
  5. Remove from heat. Add the parmesan and parsley, stir until cheese is melted
