Ingredients
- 2 pounds (LBS.) beef stew meat
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon (tbsp) sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon (tbsp) minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons (tbsp) cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons (tbsp) water
- 1 bag (12oz) frozen broccoli florets
- cooked white rice (if desired)
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and garlic
- Add beef, and toss to coat evenly
- Pour into a 6 quart slow cooker
- Cover, and cook on low heat for 5 hours
- Combine water and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour into slow cooker, mix well
- Add frozen broccoli, gently stirring to combine
- Cover again, and cook for another 30 – 60 minutes (or until broccoli is tender)
- Serve!
