Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 11/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (tsp) baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon (tsp) salt
  • 5 ripe bananas
  • Splash of vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas with a fork, breaking up all the large chunks
  3. Add butter, egg, sugar, flour, salt, and vanilla. Mix until combined
  4. Grease loaf pan
  5. Pour batter into pan, shake until batter settles evenly
  6. Bake for 1 hour
