Lemon Bars

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Filling

  • 11/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 – 3 lemons, juiced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. To make the crust
    • mix flour, butter, and sugar in a medium bowl until well combined
    • Press mixture into the bottom of an uncreased 9×13 pan
    • Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes
  3. To make the filling:
    • Whisk sugar and flour together, add in eggs, and lemon juice until smooth
  4. Pour filling over baked crust
  5. Bake again for 20 minutes
  6. Set aside to cool, bars will firm as they cool
  7. Top with powdered sugar
