Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon (tbsp) olive oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup diced yellow onion
- 2 packets taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons (tbsp) tomato paste
- 20 oz canned diced tomatoes
- 1 box spaghetti noodles
- 6 cups of water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large stock pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion, and toco seasoning
- Cook until meat is browned (3-5 minutes)
- Stir in tomato paste and diced tomatoes
- Break the spaghetti in half, and add to the pot along with the water. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce the heat to medium-low
- Simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes
- Remove from heat, and add the cheese. Stir until cheese is melted
